Sketch! Book Review

An inspirational manual for integrating sketching into daily life for artists and non-artists alike.
Urban sketching--the process of sketching on the go as a regular practice--is a hot trend in the drawing world. In this aspirational guide, French artist France Belleville-Van Stone offers motivation to move beyond the comfort zone, as well as instruction on turning rough sketches into finished work. By sharing her own creative process, which includes sketching by hand and digitally, Belleville-Van Stone emboldens readers to craft a method of their own and devote more time to art, even if it's just 10 minutes a day. Sketch will inspire artists both established and aspiring to rethink their daily practice, sketch for the pure joy of it, and document their lives and the world around them

*My Review*
I had gotten this book for my daughter for Christmas, but honestly...I may just keep it for myself. lol
This book is separated into six chapters. The first chapter covers the preliminaries, the second chapter covers what supplies are needed, the third chapter is basic techniques, the fourth chapter is drawing when time and resources are limited, chapter 5 is going digital and chapter 6 is prompts. I have always loved drawing, and consider myself to be pretty good at it. My daughter will absolutely love this book! It will also prove how serious she is about getting better at draw drawing.

This book would be a great add to your home library, no matter if you are a beginner or a pro at drawing!

*Disclaimer* I received this book free of charge from bloggingforbooks.org in exchange for my honest opinion.
